Welcome to the Aggie Livewires Website Main Page. It is here where you will discover the birth, purpose, and objectives of this organization. Also you can read our constitution.

Aggie Livewire History:

In 1995, a committee under the Student Government Association created a Pep Squad to support football and basketball games at North Carolina A&T State University, athletes, the band and the cheerleaders. The committee named the group Aggie Livewires.

The group. was active throughout the school year to increase school spirit and to support the football team at home games. Aggie Livewires was officially founded as an organization in 1996.

Aggie Livewire consists of hard working, dedicated, and multi-talented individuals that promote “Aggie Pride” on campus and throughout the Greensboro community.

Aggie Livewires performs at various NC A&T events, participates in the annual Greensboro Winter Walk for AIDS, and have been featured on BET, ESPN, and also on Television and radio stations.

This versatile group juggles full time academics and a hectic athletic schedule. Many of our members also participate in other on campus, and national organizations, such as Student Government Association, NC A&T SU Blue & Gold Marching Machine, Army & Air Force ROTC, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Currently, Aggie Livewires remains to be the most CRUNK and most LIVELY Group on the Yard. Although other schools may try to imitate what we do, we are STILL the gold standard of HBCU Pep Squads.

Aggie Livewire Mission:

Our mission is to stimulate and develop student interest in cheering for and supporting North Carolina A&T Athletics.

As an organization we will attend NC A&T SU Athletic Events, both at home and away, and be responsible for improving the overall experience for the students, the alumni, and all Aggie fans through Cheering, Dancing and Getting The Aggie Fans Excited.
